Team NT knocked off Nunavut in another exciting finish, 2-1, on Friday night in Hay River. Ben Carson scored what would be the eventual game-winner in the second period. Nunavut scored late in the third period to close the gap but couldn't find the equalizer with the goalie pulled.
Team NT head coach Randy Caines said it was a fantastic team game all around from his bunch.

Head coach Denis Lambe said all the credit goes to the winners because they worked hard but he still feels like they were the better team.
