The Arctic Rose Foundation will launch its first program, Creative Cultural Reflections, in Rankin Inlet Jan. 10, through partnership with Maani Ulujuk Ilinniarvik.
Founded by singer/songwriter Susan Aglukark, the purpose of the Arctic Rose Foundation is to nurture Northern children and youth in their efforts to engage all aspects of their lives.
The Arctic Rose Foundation intends to do this by creating culturally, emotionally, spiritually and physically safe environments for Northern youth and children.
