The song, SA国际影视传媒楯essica,SA国际影视传媒� is named after MacIntoshSA国际影视传媒檚 wife. ItSA国际影视传媒檚 one of nine in his latest album that came out April 13, and thereSA国际影视传媒檚 a chance he just might play it at the Raven on April 27.

So far, the feedbackSA国际影视传媒檚 been pretty sweet.

The video in question is for the song SA国际影视传媒楯essica.SA国际影视传媒� With close to 1,000 views on YouTube, itSA国际影视传媒檚 become MacIntoshSA国际影视传媒檚 most popular video on his channel.

The success is nice but itSA国际影视传媒檚 not exactly the artist was banking on.

SA国际影视传媒淵ou just write art that you would like to hear and then you just kind of hope that people would agree with you, I guess,SA国际影视传媒� he laughed. SA国际影视传媒淏ut playing live, weSA国际影视传媒檝e had good reception to certain songs, and that helped me figure which songs we need to record.SA国际影视传媒�

Playing live is something MacIntosh loves. He said itSA国际影视传媒檚 like a celebration that comes from time spent in the studio recording.

SA国际影视传媒淚 remember thereSA国际影视传媒檚 one drum fill that I was stuck on for at least half an hour just doing over and over and over,SA国际影视传媒� he said. SA国际影视传媒淎nd I just threw my drum sticks.SA国际影视传媒�

That bit of frustration was actually for another song MacIntosh has yet to release.

When it comes to writing songs, its important to follow oneSA国际影视传媒檚 intuition, according to MacIntosh. There needs to be a middle-ground between not overdoing it but also to be consistently playing.

Despite the release of a new album, MacIntoshSA国际影视传媒檚 work seems far from over. HeSA国际影视传媒檚 planning a mini-tour in Alberta and has some shows he and his band canSA国际影视传媒檛 announce yet.

It also sounds like thereSA国际影视传媒檚 another album on the way.

SA国际影视传媒淐offee Break and Pizza Time are part of a trilogy,SA国际影视传媒� MacIntosh said of his past two albums. SA国际影视传媒淚 want to start getting that final part of it.SA国际影视传媒�

And he has a larger goal in mind too.
