As the NorthSA国际影视传媒檚 two largest airlines continue to work out details of their approved merger, they have released a unified flight schedule, which will be effective Nov. 1.

Among the changes that the airlines have highlighted in a Friday news release are:

-A choice of early morning and mid-afternoon departures between Ottawa and Iqaluit

-Same-day connections from Ottawa to all communities within the Qikiqtani

-Daily connectivity between Cambridge Bay, Gjoa Haven, Taloyoak and Kugaaruk in both directions as well as new daily southbound connections from Gjoa Haven, Taloyoak and Kugaaruk to Edmonton via Yellowknife

-Daily 737-200 Combi service between Yellowknife and Cambridge Bay, in addition to daily turbo-prop flights

The airlines state that they will have their combined reservations system, call centre, website and check-in processes updated later this year. TheySA国际影视传媒檒l also be integrating all employees under the Canadian North banner, but thereSA国际影视传媒檚 still no word on job losses.

SA国际影视传媒淐anadian North will be committed to always providing the best possible passenger and cargo service at the lowest possible pricing,SA国际影视传媒� the news release states.

It is expected to take 18 to 24 months for Canadian North and First Air to consolidate fleets and maintenance operations.
