The Baffin Regional Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) is pleased to announce that, in partnership with Makivvik, February 2025 will feature the inaugural Aqsarniit Trade Show and Conference.

This Arctic-led event will be taking place Feb. 17SA国际影视传媒20 at the Rogers Centre in Ottawa (formerly the Shaw Centre). The Aqsarniit Trade Show and Conference seeks to explore the unique opportunities and challenges of business development in the Arctic while examining solutions to meet present and future initiatives.

Acknowledging that there are unique challenges operating in the Arctic, the event brings together Inuit, industry leaders and entrepreneurs to collaborate on solutions, with a goal of sustainable growth and prosperity in the region. In addition to business discussions, the conference will focus on highlighting the unique arts and culture across Inuit Nunangat.

Artists from Nunavut will be featured throughout the event, "offering southern audiences and international attendees the opportunity to engage directly with their creative talent and gain insights into the traditions that shape their work," according to an Oct. 29 press release from the organizers.
