A snowmobiler is being treated for a mild case of hypothermia after going through the ice at Sylvia Grinnell River, near the end of the runway, in Iqaluit on Monday.

Firefighters attended the scene during the early morning. They used ropes to pull the person out of the frigid water. The individual was then offered assistance.
