Yellowknife are treating a fire in Ndilo on Aug. 8 as a suspected case of arson.

Thursday night's fire in Ndilo is now being treated as a suspected case of arson, according to Yellowknife .

In a release on Friday afternoon, police stated that they had arrived in the early morning hours of Aug. 8 to find a car and the outside of a house on Tililo Tili engulfed in flames. A separate release from the city on Thursday indicated that an occupant inside the home had to be helped out and firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly.

The rescued individual was treated for symptoms of stress, according to the city, but had no physical injuries.

Police began to investigate and were told that someone was seen running from the location toward the area of Back Bay and Old Town. They're now looking for the publicSA国际影视传媒檚 help with any residential or vehicle video footage in the Old Town to Ndilo area on Aug. 8 between 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The person in question was described as a tall slim man wearing a black hoodie and possibly black pants.
