A Yellowknife couple are $1 million richer thanks to one lucky lottery ticket.

Bradley Perrault and Dana Martin copped the prize in the Aug. 20 Lotto Max drawing. They bought the ticket the day before the drawing while visiting family in Sherwood Park, Alta., just outside of Edmonton.

According to a release from the Western Canada Lottery Corporation on Monday morning, Perreault checked the ticket two days later and that's when he found out.

SA国际影视传媒淚 told him he better not be messing with me,SA国际影视传媒� added Martin. SA国际影视传媒淚tSA国际影视传媒檚 pretty unbelievable and so surreal. I had a huge grin on my face when I found out.SA国际影视传媒�

Martin said they don't know what they'll do with their new loot, but they do have the option to do more. 

SA国际影视传媒淲e are thinking of moving to Alberta, and this money will give us the flexibility to do things on our timeline,SA国际影视传媒� she stated.

The couple, who claimed their winnings in St. Albert, are the latest Yellowknife residents to win a $1 million lottery prize. Before that, Daniel Kudlak won $1 million in the Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball drawing.on June 29.
