Tuktoyaktuk - Passengers travelling aboard the Canada C3 ship, which is currently making its way around the country's three coasts, can expect quite the welcome when they arrive at the shores of Tuktoyaktuk on Sept. 9.
The community is planning to hold a number of activities for their guests, including a traditional feast.
Fish, muktuk and geese will be part of the meal, said Caroline Loreen, the community's recreation co-ordinator.

The Canada C3 expedition began in Toronto on June 1, when the icebreaker left southern Ontario for the East Coast. It is set to end in Victoria, B.C. by Oct. 28.
The project is bringing 150 Canadians aboard the ship to reflect on diversity, reconciliation, youth engagement and the environment, according to the expedition's website.
Residents asked for feedback on proposed species at risk
Beaufort Delta - Residents have a chance to share their thoughts on how grizzly bears and barren-ground caribou should be ranked on the NWT list of species at risk.
The Gwich'in Renewable Resources Board (GRRB) is stopping in Aklavik, Tsiigehtchic, Inuvik and Fort McPherson to gather feedback on the proposed listing of grizzly bears as a species of special concern and barren-ground caribou as threatened.
SA国际影视传媒淚t is, at this point, a recommendation,SA国际影视传媒� said Amy Amos, GRRB executive director.
The recommendations were made by a species at risk committee, she said, and now the GRRB is gauging whether or not residents agree with the recommendations.

A meeting is scheduled today in Inuvik on barren-ground caribou and another for grizzly bears on Sept. 11.
The GRRB will be in Tsiigehtchic and Fort McPherson on Sept. 12 for grizzly bear consultations.
