A 39-year-old Inuvik man has been charged following a stabbing in the community that sent one man to hospital.
In the early morning hours of May 10, Mounties discovered the man in the Union Street-area who appeared to have been injured with an SA国际影视传媒渆dged weapon,SA国际影视传媒 following what police are describing as an SA国际影视传媒渁ltercation,SA国际影视传媒 according to a news release issued by the same day.
The injured man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following a public appeal for witnesses of the incident, announced on May 15 a suspect had been charged in the stabbing.
Lanny Pascal-Stewart is charged following an investigation, say in a news release issued Wednesday.
Pascal-Stewart is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and breaching an undertaking.
A spokesperson for the thanked residents for their help following the investigation.
The suspect was due to appear in a Yellowknife courtroom on May 17.
