Inuvik are investigating how a cabin burned to the ground Nov. 18 across Airport Lake.
Police received the call at 5 p.m. and headed to the site with the town's fire marshall. However, the cabin itself was located across the lake and was not safe to reach with vehicles.
No one at the site was in need of medical attention. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Structurally, the cabin itself is ruined.
