Kiv programs shortlisted for prize

Two Kivalliq programs find themselves on the short list for an Arctic Inspiration Prize this month.

The Glen Brocklebank-led Qajaq Program has made the short list in the AIP category that awards up to $500,000 to up to four teams.

The David Clark-led Rankin Rock Hockey Camp finds itself on the short list in the AIP Youth category which awards up to $100,000 for up to seven teams.

The winners will be announced on Jan. 31, 2018.
