Fort McPherson trying to track down second suspect in home invasion

A manhunt is underway for a second suspect in an Oct. 16 home invasion in Fort McPherson.

Information on the situation is limited as a publication ban has been issued on publishing details of the case, however, the second individual involved in the break and enter is still at large.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Abraham Stewart, of Fort McPherson. He is charged with assault with a weapon; two counts of forcible confinement; two counts of breaking, entering and committing an offence; two counts of robbery; mischief under $5,000; flight from a peace officer; and failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking.

In the event of an emergency call, 911," said NT media relations officer Const. Josh Seaward. "Nathan Francis, previously arrested and charged in this matter, appeared before a justice of the peace on Oct. 18, 2024, and was subsequently released to attend court in Inuvik on Nov. 26, 2024.

"He has been placed under conditions not to return to the community of Fort McPherson."

When pressed by NNSL media, Seaward said that Steward is described as an "indigenous male of slender build, 5SA国际影视传媒6SA国际影视传媒 tall, and 132lbs with short black hair and brown eyes."
