Sept. 30 was a day of both reflection on the past and hope for the future as folks in Inuvik gathered to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Attendees marched down Mackenzie Road while the Inuvialuit and Canadian governments signed a historic accord on child care. A feast was held at the Midnight Sun Complex followed by a carnival for the youth.
