Inuvialuk actress Olivia Kate Iatridis is offering a free online acting workshop for up to 10 participants on July 29. The session will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. over the Microsoft Teams app and participants will receive a free e-book of 'BOOKED: A strong start for your child actor.' Town offers safety lessons as part of National Drowning Prevention Week
Town of Inuvik officials are reminding boaters, swimmers and other users of the water of important life-saving tips as part of National Drowning Prevention Week. Noting that drowning tends to be quick and silent SA国际影视传媒� not dramatic with thrashing like seen in movies and television SA国际影视传媒� the municipality advises anyone going out on the water to wear a life preserver. Drowning Prevention Week runs July 20 to 27.
Beaufort Delta Business Trade Show taking applications
October may be a few months away, but that's not stopping the Western Arctic Business Development Corporation from taking applications for tables at the Beaufort Delta Business Trade Show, set for Oct 18-19 at the Midnight Sun Complex. The first evening is intended for table talks SA国际影视传媒� those being networking opportunities and business proposals SA国际影视传媒� while the second day is devoted to showcasing one's business to the public. The event is free to attend, however, participants will need to cover their own travel costs.
