Youth Fiddle Summit upcoming
Anyone interested in learning or improving their skill at the fiddle can apply to participate in the upcoming Youth Fiddle Summit. Those wanting to take part have until the end of the week to apply.
The summit will take place Oct. 18-20, ending with a community dance. Youth can learn from experienced musicians and fiddles will be provided. Open to youth age 10 to 18. Inuvik Youth Centre hosts AGM
Anybody interested in helping out with the Inuvik Youth Centre is invited to the annual general meeting on Oct. 26. at 1 p.m. The facility is under new management and is running programming throughout the week. The youth centre is looking for volunteers and board members.
Christmas Craft Fair booking tables
Artists, artisans and alchemists take note SA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½” the Great Northern Arts Festival's annual Christmas Craft Fair is back in action Dec. 13 to 15 and booking tables for $50 each, with a max of two per applicant, unless representing multiple artists.

Learn to sew at Aurora College
A weekly sewing circle has begun at Aurora College with support of the Gwich'in Tribal Council.
Every Wednesday, crafters of all ages meet in the lobby of the college from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Seasoned sewers are welcome to bring their own projects and beginners are invited to come out and learn new skills.
