Generations came together Oct. 18-20 for the first Nihtat Gwich'in Council Youth Fiddle Summit, held at various locations throughout Inuvik.
Four instructors were brought in to mentor 13 youth in the ways of fiddle, guitar and bass. The summit culminated in an old-time dance for Elders and friends at Ingamo Hall.
