Fort McPherson say they've arrested a second individual in connection with an Oct. 16 home invasion.

An update was sent out early Oct. 24 stating that police had arrested suspect Abraham Stewart, of Fort McPherson.

"Stewart was located and taken into custody this morning," said NT media relations officer Const. Josh Seaward. "Fort McPherson would like to sincerely thank our media partners and members of the public who assisted with this matter. Stewart will appear before a justice of the peace later today."

Information on the situation is limited as a publication ban has been issued on details of the case.

Stewart is co-charged in the incident with Nathan Francis, 29, also of Fort McPherson. Francis appeared before a justice of the peace earlier this week and was released on conditions not to return to Fort McPherson.
