Tulita say they've intercepted an illegal shipment of booze that was coming into the community by boat.
The Northwest Territories say police were responding to a tip from a resident.
"More great work by our officers in the North District," the police stated. "Last night, Tulita acted on a tip from the public which resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of liquor arriving in the community by boat.
There was no mention of any charges laid or who has been accused of the crime.
"We encourage anyone with information regarding bootlegging to contact your local detachment or CrimeStoppers."
