In an effort to foster creativity and skill-building within the community, Makerspace YK organized a beginner cross stitching workshop last Sunday.

She also emphasized the workshopSA国际影视传媒檚 role in providing a recreational activity that encourages learning and trying new hobbies. She added that Makerspace YK is known for offering unique workshops, contributing to the citySA国际影视传媒檚 cultural and educational landscape.

Four participants attended the event. Ling said turnout for initial workshops is typically modest, serving as a trial to gauge interest and inform future sessions.

Cross stitching is pretty accessible.SA国际影视传媒�

Ling mentioned that they typically host between 10 to 16 workshops monthly, including recurring events like shop orientation and laser cutting orientation.

Looking ahead, Makerspace YK has scheduled an Easter tote bag workshop for Sunday, March 24 and plans to continue offering sewing-related workshops regularly, such as Sewing 101 on Saturday, March 23.

The schedule for additional cross stitch classes is yet to be determined, with decisions based on participant feedback and interest.
