The Dettah ice road opened to vehicles weighing less than 5,000 kilograms on Sunday at approximately 2 p.m. The construction of the Dettah ice road had started the previous Wednesday afternoon.

SA国际影视传媒淭his is the latest opening date for the Dettah ice road that the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has on record,SA国际影视传媒� said Darren Campbell, a communications person with the GNWT Department of Infrastructure.

According to the GNWT website, the average opening date for the Dettah ice road is Dec. 24, and it typically closes on April 16.
