First artists announced for YellowknifeSA国际影视传媒檚 Folk on the Rocks festival

The first batch of performers set to take the stage at YellowknifeSA国际影视传媒檚 annual Folk on the Rocks (FOTR) festival has been announced.

The popular summer destination at Long Lake is set for July 19-21.

The first performers confirmed for this year are Ammoye, Amy and The Easy Hundo, Adrina Turenne, Big Blue, Brandon Sonnet, Bruno Capinan, DEBBY FRIDAY, Frog Poison, Miranda Currie, Mo Kenney, Ryan McCord, Sean Beaver, The David Gon Band, and Thomas Thomas.

There will also be a burlesque dance show called Glam on the Rocks, which will feature SA国际影视传媒渁ll your favourite local performers.SA国际影视传媒

A performance from the Yellowknives Dene Drummers is also on the schedule.

The majority of the performers hail from the NWT, and all of them have roots in Canada, according to FOTR organizers.

The news release promised more announcements on April 19 and May 17, with a full lineup that will feature SA国际影视传媒渟omething for everyone SA国际影视传媒 from rap, rock and rhythm and blues, to electronica, the Yellowknives Dene Drummers and poetry.SA国际影视传媒

In addition to the music, FOTR will also include drum dances, drumming workshops and SA国际影视传媒渓ocal eats and beverages from YellowknifeSA国际影视传媒檚 best food vendors as well as crafts and artwork from across the NWT and Canada.SA国际影视传媒
