Fort Resolution are investigating reports of gunshots and a suspected arson attempt.
The reports of shots fired came in around 4:30 a.m. on March 3, which resulted in the police rushing to a residence on Rental Road.
"Police attended the scene to find an attempt had also been made to set the residence on fire," the stated in a March 4 news release. "No injuries were reported as a result of this matter and the fire was extinguished quickly with minimal damage.
The investigation remains ongoing.
No suspects had been identified as of the morning of March 4.
Police say they believe there are witnesses who know what took place but have not come forward.
