Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued an extreme cold warning for much of the NWT as the wind chill values are expected to drop to between -50 to -55 C in the next few days.

The warning covers most of the Sahtu, Tlicho and Yellowknife regions.
As of now, the Dehcho and South Slave regions arenSA国际影视传媒檛 being included in the warning, but the long-term forecast is showing that extreme cold may reach those areas in the coming days.
