Natan Obed will embark on another term as president of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK) as he was the only candidate to meet nomination requirements.

The deadline for nominations closed on Aug. 18 at 5 p.m.

Obed, who will serve a four-year term, was first elected to the position in September 2015.

ITKSA国际影视传媒檚 annual general meeting is scheduled to take place from Sept. 29 to 30 at the Aqsarniit Hotel and Conference Centre in Iqaluit, SA国际影视传媒渋n strict accordance with public health guidelines.SA国际影视传媒�

The organization represents Inuit across Canada, most of whom reside in Inuit Nunangat, which comprises Nunavut, Nunavik (northern Quebec) the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (Northwest Territories) and Nunatsiavut (Northern Labrador).

Inuit Nunangat makes up nearly one-third of CanadaSA国际影视传媒檚 landmass and 50% of its coastline, according to ITK.
