Members of the Philippine Cultural Association of Yellowknife (PCAY) gathered by the shores of Frame Lake to stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities this July 1.
The Light up the Lake event took place at 9 p.m. by the Drum Dance sculpture at Somba KSA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™e Park to demonstrate support to residential school survivors and their families in lieu of annual Canada Day celebrations.
