Town of Inuvik and SAO part ways less than one year into job

Inuvik Town Council and Senior Administrative Officer Michael Trabysh have parted ways, less than a year after he was hired.

Deputy Mayor Natasha Kulikowski confirmed the SAO was no longer in employment of the town during public question period of Town CouncilSA国际影视传媒檚 Feb. 28 meeting.

As of March 8, no statement appears on the Town of InuvikSA国际影视传媒檚 social media feed nor is there one apparent on the townSA国际影视传媒檚 website.

The question of what happened was brought to council by Don Fischer, who said he was representing a group of concerned residents.

Trabysh was present during town councils Feb. 26 Committee of the Whole meeting, which had an in camera discussion at the end of the evening. He took over the position last summer after longtime SAO Grant Hood retired.
