The Yellowknife Primary Care Centre has partially reopened following a flooding incident on Saturday, the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) advised on Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, the clinic side (pod A) of the facility is open to the public, including those with previously booked primary care appointments. However, the laboratory and diagnostic imaging side (pod B) will remain closed until further notice, with services being consolidated at Stanton Territorial Hospital.

Psychiatry will continue to see booked appointments in pod A, while affected mental health counsellors will operate out of the Goga Cho building. All affected clients will be notified of these changes.
