The community of Rankin Inlet is in full party mode as the 2018 edition of Pakallak Tyme got underway this past weekend and will run until May 6.

Games, competitions and fun-filled activities for children of all ages are guaranteed during the annual hamlet celebration.

Toronto teams arrive in Rankin

The Mimico teams from the Greater Toronto Area arrived in Rankin Inlet this past Friday, April 27, for the second segment of the cultural exchange program with the Rankin Rock minor hockey program.

The final day of exhibition hockey between the Mimico and Rankin teams is today, May 2.

The Rankin Rock atoms take on the Mimico Blue atoms at 3 p.m. at the Rankin arena, while the final game pits the Rankin Rock peewee and bantam team against the Mimico bantam team at 4:15 p.m.

Arctic Circle Cup ready in Naujaat
