The Department of Health is recommending that the community boil water for at least one minute when using it for:
SA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½¢ drinking
SA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½¢ preparing infant formulas
SA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½¢ preparing juices and ice cubes
SA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½¢ washing fruits and vegetables
SA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½¢ cooking
SA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½¢ brushing teeth
It's not necessary to boil water used for other purposes.
Water can be boiled either in a pot or kettle on a stove or an electric kettle without an automatic shut-off, according to the Department of Health.
