Cambridge Bay man dies in all-terrain vehicle crash

A 24-year-old Cambridge Bay man perished when he lost control of his all-terrain vehicle on May 11.

The driver crashed into a snowbank around 11 p.m. and was not wearing a helmet, according to the , who added that speed and alcohol are also considered to be factors in the tragedy.

The communitySA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™s bylaw officer initially performed CPR on the man and assisted in those efforts, arriving a short time later. The individual was taken to the health centre but was pronounced deceased.

The Mounties didnSA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™t release the manSA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™s name.
