Two men died when an all-terrain vehicle overturned on Aug. 11 on the outskirts of Gjoa Haven, according to .
The incident occurred during the early morning hours, about 30 km outside of the community, the stated in a news release issued Aug. 13.
Upon being notified, police officers, with assistance from local residents, travelled to the scene and found the two men deceased.
Gjoa Haven are continuing their investigation in conjunction with the Coroner's Office.
The names of the deceased have not be released.
