received a complaint last Wednesday, April 10, that a man was taken from his Iqaluit residence by another man, then held against his will.
state they arrested an Iqaluit man. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
Gabriel Choquette, 23, was charged with kidnapping with a firearm, as well as with several other Criminal Code offences.
Choquette appeared in court April 11, and was released with conditions. His next scheduled court appearance is May 6, 2019, state police.
