Junior Canadian Rangers from Gjoa Haven, Grise Fiord, Kugaaruk, Kugluktuk and Resolute Bay recently joined their counterparts in Taloyoak for an enhanced training session.
During the July 2-8 camp, the Rangers partook in diverse Ranger skills, life skills and traditional skills training, engaged in challenging activities, and took trips out on the land, which is often their favourite part, stated Capt. Steve Watton, public affairs officer for 1 Canadian Rangers Patrol Group. It was one of six camps held in the North this summer.
