Rankin Inlet charge man allegedly speeding on ATV after drinking

A 20-year-old Rankin Inlet man will be heading to court to answer to impaired driving related charges following an incident in the community on Saturday night.

The responded to a report of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) driving at a high rate of speed, not stopping at stop signs and SA国际影视传媒渄riving recklesslySA国际影视传媒 around town. In addition, there were reportedly three people on the machine, which exceeds the limit of two.

Police located the ATV and arrested a man they say was the driver after he allegedly failed a test involving a roadside screening device.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court in Rankin Inlet on Feb. 10, 2020.
