Events cancelled but Kugluktuk SAO says life goes on

Next month's Nattiq Frolics have been scrapped, as is the Kitikmeot Hockey Tournament but life continues, says Kugluktuk SAO Ronald Ladd.

While air travel to and from the community continues, Ladd said extra steps have been taken to keep travellers safe. Cleaning hours at the facility have been doubled to eight hours per day, he said.
