Natan Obed will head the Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami for a second term, it's just been announced in Inuvik where the organization is holding its annual general meeting.

Incumbent Natan Obed was re-elected Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami president Aug. 16 in Inuvik, Northwest Territories at the national organization's 2018 annual general assembly.
Obed was in a race against former Nunavut MP Peter Ittinuar and former policy analyst Peter Williamson. Obed won his second term by a majority vote. More news to follow.
