A 22-year-old woman who went missing in Yellowknife has been found dead, said her mother in an emotional online message posted to Facebook Friday morning.

In the post, Lisa Marie said Breanna MenachoSA国际影视传媒檚 body was located on Wednesday night.

On Tuesday Yellowknife issued a public appeal in the hopes of locating Menacho, who was last seen the day before, on Tuesday May 5. She was reportedly last seen around the Butler Road area, near the Walmart on Old Airport Road, at about 10 a.m., said police.

On Thursday, said they found a body after attending to a call at a multiple dwelling residential area off Forrest Drive on Wednesday evening.

Police treated the death as suspicious.

Police have not yet confirmed MenachoSA国际影视传媒檚 death.
