Art will be remembered most by family and friends for being a kind, and thoughtful man with a sense of humour that
would give the shirt right off his back. Art was a professional truck driver for over 55 years, driving millions of miles, all over
Canada and the United States. Right up to the last load to Colville NWT 80km above the arctic circle. Being behind the wheel was one of Art's happy places, listening to music and reminiscing his youth and wild stories. His other happy place was sitting in his recliner In Fort Resolution NWT watching Judge Judy and enjoying his home life surrounded by his children, grandchildren and his loving wife Margaret.
We'd like to thank all the doctors and nurses in the coronary care department at the Edmonton University Hospital for the outstanding care and compassion they provided to Art and his family.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date in Hay River NWT.
