Bruce Elliot March 16, 1947 - December 6, 2024 Bruce was born in Auckland New Zealand on March 16, 1947 attended school at Mt. Roskil in Auckland and came to Canada in 1988.

Bruce met Sandra the love of his life in Vernon BC. They moved to Yellowknife in 1991and were married on April 13, 1992.

He was a leader in helping to create and manufacture in the North, he believed northerners should 'build in the north for the north'. His creativity and enthusiasm for life led him to his business that he started with Sandra - Fibreglass North. A leading visionary on building and manufacturing, he built fibreglass tanks, patented fibreglass poles. Bruce was also working on developing and building smaller and more efficient homes for the North to help answer some of the housing issues we have here in the North.

Bruce was an avid sailor on Great Slave Lake and was building a 75' catamaran for his retirement so he and Sandra could sail it to New Zealand sadly he did not finish his dream.

Bruce loved the North, he is at peace now, dancing in the night sky. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
