June 21, 1987 - October 27, 2024

It is with profound sadness that the family of Bryn Ivar ("BI") Hjartarson Livingstone (born June 21, 1987) announce his sudden, unexpected and all too early passing on October 27th, 2024. Bryn was creative, innovative, and passionately interested in politics. A carpenter by profession, he drew inspirations and aspirations from architecture, art, and travel (to Israel, the North, across Canada and Europe, particularly throughout Scandinavia). Like his grandfather Arni, he leaves behind numerous and beautiful creations that adorn our homes and workspaces. He was, and is known, by a new and recent cohort of friends as a spiritual leader; they will never forget his role in their lives. Bryn is predeceased by his grandparents, Arni and Lydia Hjartarson and Pepa and Kenneth Livingstone, as well as his cousin Elizabeth Hjartarson, and uncles Gary Watts and Biswarup Bhattacharya. He leaves behind his beautiful and adoring children Taavi and Aya and their mother Leila, his parents David Livingstone and Lynn Hjartarson, and his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Bryn brought kindness, energy, creativity, humour, and a mischievous smile to his every endeavour. This is how we will remember and cherish his memory - always. A private ceremony and burial was held with celebrations of life to follow.
