The YukonSA国际影视传媒檚 Pine Lake hosts hardwater snowmobile races

Weekend-long event sees racers of all ages open up the throttle

Yukon Hardwater Racing put on a weekend of high-octane, adrenaline-fueled races, with competitors of all ages behind the handlebars on Pine Lake near Haines Junction. Snowmobilers took on cross country and drag races in a variety of age and machine classes on March 16 and 17.

March 16 saw kidsSA国际影视传媒 races and cross-country events, while the following day was all about straight-line speed with the drag races.

The kidsSA国际影视传媒 races on the 16th were split into two groups for the 120 and 200cc engine classes. On the podium for group #1 of the 120cc event were, in the order they finished, CJ Turcotte, Levi Jamieson and Layla Thomas. The group #2 podium was Kayden Cole, Lennox Jamieson and Clinton Scott.

In the 200cc event, the podium finishers were Shaela McGovern, Mayzie Campbell and Layla Thomas for group #1 and Graeme Sembsmoen, Charlie Kent and Emmett McGovern for group #2.

There was a separate kidsSA国际影视传媒 race for Bravo and Tundra sleds, older machines with about a 250cc displacement. Cade Milos, Lennox Jamieson and Brynley Duncan rounded out the podium in this race. A poker run was held just for the kids too, with Jasper Leslie, Arabella Ladouceur and Brynley Duncan listed as the winners.

The standings at the end of the WomenSA国际影视传媒檚 lake race were Tina Grant in first, Emma Morin in second and Anika Aschbacher in third.

The 0-600cc lake race podium was Colby Hadley in first, Saul Gail in second and Tommy Dickson in third.

Joey Chr茅tien won the open-class lake race, followed by Bryden Cook and Jordan Sands.

First place in the SA国际影视传媒淭rappers Race,SA国际影视传媒 which sees racers pulling skimmers behind their utility machines and setting traps each lap, went to Kenny Burns. He was followed by Marcel Dulac and Brad Wilson.

The winners of the March 17 drag races were as follows:

Bravo/Tundra - Aiden Hupe; 340-440 - Alyssa Philpott; 441-551 - Casey Hadley; 600 - Nicholis Schmidt; 700 - Nicholis Schmidt: 800 - Taylor Sembsmoen; 850-900 - Tommy Dickson; Stock/Turbo - Saul Gail; Open - Sam Schirmer.
