On Aug. 15, 2020 a team from the Yellowknife confiscated the drugs from WhiteSA国际影视传媒檚 apartment along with $235 that he was carrying. This is WhiteSA国际影视传媒檚 second offence under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Though Crown Prosecutor Brendan Green noted 200 grams to be a large quantity of cocaine, he said WhiteSA国际影视传媒檚 early guilty plea and cooperation with investigators were mitigating factors.
He characterized WhiteSA国际影视传媒檚 involvement in the drug trafficking operation to be commercial, rather than wholesale, which calls for a higher range of sentencing.
Judge Donovan Molloy accepted the Crown and defence lawyersSA国际影视传媒 joint recommendation of 32 months imprisonment.
Molloy reiterated the SA国际影视传媒渄evastating effects that drugs and crack have on communities,SA国际影视传媒 especially remote communities, he said.
He told White that while he appreciates the difficulties in his personal circumstances, SA国际影视传媒渃learly you made the wrong choice, you know that.SA国际影视传媒
SA国际影视传媒This is a tough sentence, but itSA国际影视传媒檚 not something that you canSA国际影视传媒檛 recover from,SA国际影视传媒 Molloy said.

SA国际影视传媒ISA国际影视传媒檓 very sorry to the families ISA国际影视传媒檝e hurt and the lives ISA国际影视传媒檝e destroyed,SA国际影视传媒 he said.
White hugged and said his goodbyes to family before being taken into custody.
