Firefighters extinguished a fire in a storage unit on the first floor of Norseman Apartments Wednesday night.
The Fire division received a report of smoke and fire coming out of the unit at 9:11 p.m.
Smoke and flames were not immediately visible, but once on scene, fire crews found the fire in the storage unit and put it out.
A ventilation fan was set up to blow smoke out of the building.
Residents were evacuated and no injuries were reported.
A full group alert went out and in total, 14 personnel attended the scene as well as two fire trucks, one rescue vehicle and one ambulance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Wednesday night's small fire comes two days after a blaze razed an unoccupied house on the corner of Franklin Avenue and 53rd Street.
