A GNWT hearing on the use of official languages in the Legislative Assembly has been postponed until Nov. 17.
The Standing Committee on Rules and Procedures' hearing had originally been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8.
The hearing had been called on March 10, based on a point of privilege raised by Jackson Lafferty, MLA for Monfwi, the Assembly said in a news release on Thursday.

The proceedings of the hearing will be simultaneously interpreted in T艂谋台ch谦 and French, O'Reilly added.
"If there are requests to make use of other official languages in the meeting, we will work to provide interpretation in those languages as well,SA国际影视传媒� he said.
People wishing to appear before the Committee as witnesses must register with Michael Ball, committee clerk.
Members of the Standing Committee also include, deputy chair Rocky Simpson, MLA for Hay River South; Jackie Jacobson, MLA for Nunakput; Steve Norn, MLA for Tu Nedh茅 SA国际影视传媒� Wiilideh; and Shane Thompson, MLA for Nahendeh.
