An hours-long standoff at a downtown apartment building ended with no injuries after an armed man was taken into custody by Yellowknife Tuesday night.
Police say a man barricaded himself inside a Sunridge Apartments unit around 5 p.m. SA国际影视传媒� prompting a large-scale police response that saw multiple units, including a crisis negotiation team, rush to the 51A Avenue apartment complex.

The area was closed to traffic during the stand-off, which ended around midnight Tuesday.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
