Investigation into 'suspicious death' in Yk continues

Police in Yellowknife are continuing to investigate the SA国际影视传媒渟uspicious deathSA国际影视传媒 of a 35-year-old man found in a downtown apartment unit last month.

The suspicious death of a 35-year-old man in an apartment in Yellowknife's 53 Street and 50 Avenue area around 2:30 a.m. on April 28 is still under police investigation.

Yellowknife responded to an apartment in the 53 Street and 50 Avenue area around 2:30 a.m. on April 28. There, Mounties found the man deceased.

Paramedics, already at the scene, had tried to revive the man.

Preliminary evidence led police to deem the death suspicious in nature, according to a news release issued a day later.

spokesperson Julie Plourde said police are being SA国际影视传媒渧ery careful with releasing any information,SA国际影视传媒 related to the investigation.

In a follow up email sent Tuesday, Plourde said thatSA国际影视传媒檚 being done to protect the integrity of the ongoing probe.

NWT Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation alongside the territorySA国际影视传媒檚 coroner.
