Old Town Ramble and Ride is set to return for another year. 

This year's festival is scheduled to take place from Aug. 2 to 4. Jo-Ann Martin, who's helping to organize the event, said people can expect both something new and familiar. 

SA国际影视传媒淓very year, Ramble and Ride produces something a little bit different,SA国际影视传媒� she said. SA国际影视传媒淭he biggest part in Ramble and Ride is it's very consistent in what it does and promotes. This year, we have a very similar event to other years.SA国际影视传媒� 

It's the festival's 18th anniversary, Martin added, and to celebrate, she highlighted there will be plenty of local musicians and a market for artists. 

The musical portion of the festival will include Sechile Sedare SA国际影视传媒� comprising Leela and Jay Gilday SA国际影视传媒� who will be among the featured performers. 

SA国际影视传媒淲e're pretty excited to have them performing back in Old Town,SA国际影视传媒� said Martin. 

Another highlight, she added, is what the event does for local businesses. 

SA国际影视传媒淓verybody gets out, every business in Old Town takes part. So that's great, too,SA国际影视传媒� she said. 

It is a family event and free to attend, she added, and she hopes to see plenty of people once Ramble and Ride starts

The City of Yellowknife will be offering free transit on all buses this Saturday. However, they're closing McDonald Drive for the festival that same day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. 

On Saturday, Route C will follow a detour route since McDonald Drive will be closed.
