Pedestrian struck by vehicle downtown

First responders tended to a man who was struck by a vehicle Friday morning while trying to cross Franklin Avenue near Mildred Hall School. A witness identified the man as Ralph Lafferty.

He was rushed to Stanton Territorial Hospital by ambulance with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Another witness said the man was crossing the street mid-block when he was struck by a vehicle that had the green light.
