The building Polar Tech has been working out of is up for sale in Kam Lake. If anyone's got $4 million to spare, it's all theirs.
Joey Sutton, the owner of Polar Tech, said the the business is still in good shape and will be moving to a more central location, though nothing's publicly confirmed as to where that is yet. Polar Tech, located at 213 Utsingi Drive, is a power sports and marine dealer, selling snowmobiles, boats and other vehicles. It also has a service and repair shop.
The building itself is 16,000 square feet.
"There is a 6-(to)-8-foot barbed wire security fence that completely surrounds the site with a front paved lot well set up for a new business opportunity," according to the real estate listing. "In-floor heat throughout with the top floor comfortably air conditioned, LED lights throughout. The primary heat source is from a Wood Master pellet boiler system that is a huge energy saving."
The building also comes with a suite upstairs. There's a 2,400-square-foot residence that comes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the listing indicates.
Ownership will cost the owner more than $28,000 a year in taxes, based on details in the listing.
The company has about 20 employees, ranging from managers and consultants to technicians and mechanics.
Polar Tech got into business in 1994 through its founder, Gord Olson, who turned the business over to Sutton, the storeSA国际影视传媒檚 manager at the time.
